Summer Reading Challenge 2019

It'll soon be time for this year's Summer Reading Challenge! Starting on 6th July until 7th September. The theme this year is SPACE to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing. Help the Rocket family to find out who has been removing the books from the moon library! Visit the library twice over the summer holiday and read six books. You'll receive stickers and gifts to help you along the way. For more information and for book suggestions go to https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/

We have a wide selection of previously loved books to buy. You can select from the trolley in the library, see us at the Groby Street Fair or you can call and collect by viewing https://sites.google.com/site/callandcollectbooksales/books-available-for-sale

Groby Community Library is situated in the heart of Groby in Leicestershire.

The library is a registered charity and is managed and run by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Our aim is to make the library welcoming and accessible to all members of the local community. As well as a range of library services we also organise events and outings and make the library available to groups and societies. We also have the Time Out café, a great place to catch up with friends over a hot drink and cake!

Our library is one of a network of community libraries in Leicestershire and our book stock and computer systems are part of the Leicestershire County Council system.

If you have a Leicestershire County Council library card you can borrow and return your books at Groby Library.
